Moisturiser: Each and every one of you can attest to the fact a good moisturiser is a vital item in your beauty bag. I know from personal experience (and much experimentation) the most expensive does not necessarily mean the best for your skin type. Kate has obviously discovered this too. Kate has been spotted stocking up on Nivea Visage Pure and Natural at her local Boots store. The £5.10 moisturising day cream contains effective, organically grown natural ingredients.

I love this post so much! Thank you for this great work!
ReplyDeleteshe's a stunner! a real natural beauty. she has a beautiful smile, and a good soul (you can see it when she smiles :) )
ReplyDeleteThank you Tanja :)
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree bonnieux, her smile is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you for being so quick and for embracing my suggestion! It is very considerate of you!
ReplyDeleteYou are an amazing writer and the best thing about being your faithful reader is that you clearly care about us.
Thank you again, Charlotte! A lovely, lovely post!
Kate looked a lot better before she got married when she wore much less makeup. There is nothing 'natural' about her makeup, of which she wears too much.
ReplyDeleteDo you know what time the garden party is tomorrow?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comments :)
ReplyDeleteThe garden party is 4-6 p.m., no word yet on whether or not Kate will attend but there's definitely a chance :)
I bought Illuminum on my recent trip to London and it has the most wonderful scent. My husband also loved it!
ReplyDeleteIs she the future queen or a model?
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed the post... Thank you, dear Charlotte !
ReplyDeleteTheresa
very interessting! I only knew the nail polish (allure from essie) but the other things are completely new for me! thanks charlotte!!
ReplyDeleteDo you know where I can get the perfum from??
ReplyDeleteI've looked in a few shops but have had no luck.
Kate did not do he own make up at the wedding. It was originally rumored that she wanted to but she was talked out of it. Bobbi Brown has even admitted publicly in interviews that a member of their staff was on hand to do the "royal makeup" on her wedding day, including a touch up at the church after the ceremony.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Great post!!
ReplyDeleteI bought the Karin Herzog cleansing cream-it is a great product! Can't wait to try out some of the other products! Think I'll wait until we're in the UK later this year to shop! ;-)
About the products: Charlotte, are you just guessing that's what Kate uses or you actually read/researched it somewhere?
ReplyDeleteNo I'm certainly not guessing, the products suggested have been confirmed by the brands or by several reputable news outlets as products Kate uses.
ReplyDeleteI thought that Kate also used Bobbi Brown's liquid "Ink" liner? Has she switched lately or something? I have noticed that the line along the bottom lashes seems to be softer and less of a hard line like before, so maybe she is using a pencil or a shadow for a liner now. I love her eye makeup look, so I am keen to try to re-create it as much as possible, using the products that she has/does use.
ReplyDeleteAlso, do you know how Kate gets and maintains her tan? She obviously has a lot of colour...
Thanks!
What lipliner does she use?
ReplyDeleteShe uses st tropez for her tan
ReplyDeleteHow do you know?? Are you certain??
